Reason for sale lost interest in the project. Complete with single axle galvanised trailer,the trailer is hinged in the middle to allow to allow the boat to be put in and removed from the water without fully submerging the trailer. Hamilton 752 jet drive powered by a 'Lancing Marine' marinised Ford Pinto 2 litre engine. This boat is in excellent condition, having been fully overhauled last season and retrimmed. It comes on a 2 wheel trailer with spare wheel, and has a 6 foot beam.
This New Zealand built Hamilton jet drive is one of the world's best, and can handle from 100 to 250 horse power. Being a jet boat, it has no projections beneath the hull, and consequently can operate in very shallow waters if needed. Steering is by Teleflex steering wheel control, and the craft is very fast, planes with ease, and is highly manoeuvrable (can turn in its own length). It is ready to go with new leisure battery purchased last summer, twin fuel tanks, auto bilge pump, etc. etc. , and is powerfully smooth, economical and reliable. Reluctantly, Bayliner Capri has only been used to a maximum of 30 hours throughout the 6 years of ownership, due to living in an inconvenient location. Throughout this time it has been well cared for and thoroughly sprayed down after use, and subsequently is in excellent condition with spotless interior and no damage on hull. The boat comfortably seats 10, with the 2 centre seats being easily adjusted to create sun-loungers. There is plenty of storage under seats.
